It's definitely a steak house, but acclaimed chef John Hogan's definition of a steak-house menu breaks convention by including his signature bistro fare, inventive daily specials (pray for the seafood-rich potpie), and plenty of fish offerings, as well as New York strips and hefty porterhouses. The circular room drops the he-man pose, too. All of which explains why Keefer's pulls the most diverse and gender-balanced crowd of the meat market. It's a good choice for all
types of occasions.
