Fodor's Review

Chicago Symphony Orchestra, with internationally celebrated conductor Riccardo Muti at the helm as music director, is a musical tour de force. They have two in-house award-winning composers and more than 150 magnificent performances a year. The impressive annual roster offers regular concerts and special themed series including classical, chamber, and children's concerts. Performances are held September through June. Tickets are sometimes scarce, but they do become available;

call or check the website for status updates. If you buy your tickets online, click on the "Know Your Seats" section, where you can see photos of the views of the stage from different seats.
