Chicago Children's Choir Review

A performance by the Chicago Children's Choir is the closest thing we can imagine to hearing angels sing. Its members—ages 8 to 18—are culled from a broad spectrum of racial, ethnic, and economic groups. Performances, selected from an international music base, take place during the holiday season and in May. Other concerts are scheduled periodically, sometimes in the Chicago Cultural Center's Preston Bradley Hall.

    Do not miss!

If you're in town when they're presenting one of their concerts, this is an experience you'll not want to miss. They're known worldwide, and the kids who participate in that choir come from every background imaginable. We found their concert last January to be wonderful sounding and emotionally heartening. They do all different types of music, and the kids (when they answer questions) represent themselves amazingly well. Enjoy!
