Funky is the operative word for the Funky Buddha Lounge, with its diverse crowd, seductive dance music, and a big metal Buddha guarding the front door. It has an intimate bar and dark dance floor, where patrons groove as DJs spin dance hall, hip-hop, R&B, funk, and old-school house. The VIP room in back can be declared no-smoking upon request.

I attended the new years eve extravaganza, and was a little upset after spending over an hour waiting outside in line in 14 degree weather, but once we got in it was more than worth the wait. Service was amazing, and the multiple rooms made it so no one was overly crowded.
