Laurene Hynson's menu has something for everyone: buttermilk pancakes and hefty omelets for those who prefer American classics, as well as dishes such as the Dias y Noches Scramble—eggs cooked with grilled chicken and jalapeños and served with a side of freshly made salsa. Not to be overlooked are the home fries, which come in any combination of peppers, cheese, and bacon. For non–breakfast eaters, well-executed salads and soups are available after 11:30 on weekdays.
