Wedged smack dab between the financial district and theater district, this historic property is a big draw for business travelers and tourists alike as it's within walking distance of all the major sights. Originally built in 1938, it retains Chicago's classic architectural charms with a splash of modernity with upgrades like incredibly comfortable beds with satin-padded headboards and stylish bathrooms that feature more-than-the-usual toiletries.

You Should Know Want a pillow fort or a pint of ice cream at midnight? W Hotel's "Whatever, Whenever" policy means you can literally get whatever you want, whenever you want it and the concierge will find a way to get it. Bonus: You're only billed for the price of the product, not the service.

The once-sleepy Financial District dominated by lunch restaurants is finally seeing up-and-coming restaurants like Cochon Volant Brasserie (1-minute walk) and trendy food halls like Latincity (4-minute walk) and Revival Food Hall (2-minute walk).
