know about what's happening in the city. There's no Hard Rock Café here, by the way, but an upscale diner by the name of Chuck's Manufacturing serves a mean burger as well as macaroni and cheese and other bar and comfort food.

We stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel Chicago for the Chicago Marathon so the location was perfect. Even without the marathon, the location of the hotel on Michigan Ave is perfect. The hotel is very modern and trendy but the music in the lobby area was always very loud. Service was good and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is what really sells this hotel.

it's hard to explain what makes a great hotel, but it's not hard to explain what doesn't, the staff ignored me, nothing worked including TV in restaurant, had more fun with homeless lady up the street than in this property, was cool being on "Prince" floor but all in all, i would rather have been in Minneapolis.
