Fodor's Expert Review Modern Hotel and Bar

A modernized version of midcentury California motels, with low flat ceilings and square furniture, this design hotel is located in the new and hip Linen District (right off downtown). Interior features include lime-green walls, faux deer antlers, and glass-tiled “rainfall” showers. The very popular bar, off the lobby, buzzes on Friday nights with a 5 o’clock collection of young musicians, poets, and artists sipping on favorites like the “Layover.” The bar food is arguably the best in Boise, but come early to snag a table.
