Fodor's Review:

Built in 1877, this three-room mill has been reconstructed as a testament to Molokai's agricultural history. Some of the equipment may still be in working order, including a mule-driven cane crusher, redwood evaporating pans, some copper clarifiers, and a steam engine. A small museum with changing exhibits on the island's early history and a gift shop are on-site as well. The facility serves as a campus for Elderhostel educational programs.

  • Cost: $3.50
  • Open: Mon.-Sat. 10-2
