Puu O Hoku Ranch Review

At the east end of Molokai, near mile marker 25, lie these three ocean-view accommodations, on 14,000 isolated acres of pastures and forest. This is a remote and serene location for people who want to get away or meet in a retreat atmosphere. One country cottage ($140 per night) has two bedrooms, basic wicker furnishings, and lauhala (natural fiber) woven matting on the floors. An airy four-bedroom cottage ($160 per night) has a small deck and a somewhat Balinese air. For large groups—family reunions, for example—the ranch has a lodge with 11 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, and a large kitchen. The full lodge goes for $1,250 nightly (rooms are not available on an individual basis).

    Hotel Amenities

  • 1 2-bedroom cottage, 1 4-bedroom cottage, 11 rooms in lodge.
  • Pool.
  • Rooms have: no a/c, kitchen.
  • Credit cards accepted.
