Fast food Molokai-style is served at a walk-up counter. Hot dogs, fries, and sundaes are on the menu, but residents usually choose the foods they grew up on, such as saimin (thin noodles and vegetables in broth), plate lunches, shave ice (snow cone), and the beloved loco moco (rice topped with a hamburger and a fried egg, covered in gravy).
