You can hear all kinds of music at the MACC (as it's called): the multitiered Castle Theater seats 1,200 people on orchestra, mezzanine, and balcony levels; rock stars play the A&B Amphitheater. But a major draw is the Schaeffer International Gallery, which houses superb rotating art exhibits. The MACC also includes a small black-box theater, an art gallery with interesting exhibits, and classrooms. The building itself is worth a visit: It incorporates work by Maui artists, and its signature lava-rock wall pays tribute to the skills of the Hawaiians.
