Kaiholo Hale

Fodor's Review:

Built in 2005, this immaculately maintained vacation house has large, light, and airy rooms with comfortable contemporary furnishings. There are four spacious suites decorated in muted colors of cream and chocolate with Mission-style teak furniture. The Hibiscus, Gardenia, and Plumeria suites have kitchenettes and the Orchid Suite has a full kitchen—all are totally equipped and beautifully appointed with granite countertops and modern appliances such as glass cooktops. Each suite has a private lanai with a barbecue. Special touches include cotton robes and luxury, hotel-quality bath amenities. The entire house can be rented to accommodate up to 18 guests, making it a perfect spot for family vacations—and kids are definitely welcome here. Pros: big rooms; beautiful furnishings; lots of kitchen equipment and beach gear. Cons: no views; it's a 100-yard walk to the beach.
