Fodor's Review:

A restored 1927 house on the slopes of Haleakala is the setting for this Hawaiian cowboy restaurant, which serves consistently good prime rib, rack of lamb, and fresh fish. The New York pepper steak is a signature, as is the Mud Pie dessert with Kona coffee ice cream and Oreo cookie crust. Three fireplaces, friendly service, and an intimate lounge create a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The salad bar, albeit small, is always a big hit. In addition, ladies will love the tearoom in the back, perfect for all kinds of girly get-togethers with its frilly ambience and antique china.
