Fodor's Review

It's been a popular, casual spot with locals since it first opened—several owners ago—in 1989, and to be around that long, they've got to be doing something right. You can get everything from huevos rancheros to local-style fried rice at breakfast; plate lunches, salads, wraps, and more for lunch; and fresh fish, chicken, steak, and pasta for dinner. If that's not enough for you, there are separate pizza, pupu, and bar menus. In the truest sense of the phrase, there's

something for everyone. Since this restaurant buys its fish from Lahaina Harbor anglers, the catch is always a good bet.

There are cooler places than Lahaina Coolers

Wasn't overly impressed with this restaurant. Went there for lunch during the week - both my husband and I had pasta and fish tacos and I didn't think any of these dishes were spectacular enough to be what we considered a Fodor's pick. A breezy, open air restaurant with a cool atmoshphere, but the food needs some work.

Nothing "cool" about this place.

We were very disappointed that this was a "Fodor's Choice." The food was unexceptional in every respect.

Something Different

We were looking for something completely different and found it here. Although you could find the usual array of fish entrees, we started with Spring-rolls and moved on to great pork chops and steak. A nice change from the usual menu.
