Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa Review

The Marriott was built before current construction laws, so rooms sit much closer to the crashing surf than at most resorts; Wailea Beach is a few steps away, as are the Shops at Wailea. Relaxation is luxurious here: the 10,000-square-foot Mandara Spa is elegant and peaceful, and the gorgeous, adults-only "Serenity" pool has an unobstructed panoramic ocean view from almost every lounge chair. Maui celebrity-chef Mark Ellman's tony restaurant, Mala Wailea, also takes advantage of an ocean view. Guest rooms, all with private lanai, are large; rooms have a sleek, contemporary, residential feel. You have golf privileges at three nearby courses, as well as tennis privileges at the Wailea Tennis Club.
