On the main road in jungly yet up-and-coming Haiku, this is the neighborhood hangout for windsurfers, yoga teachers, and just plain beautiful people. Many regulars stop in for takeout on their way home from commutes in the touristy areas. At breakfast, pastries tend to be jam-packed with berries and nuts, rather than being flaky and full of butter. Sandwiches are especially good, served on giant slices of homemade bread. For dinner you can't go wrong with the ahi niçoise salad, pepper-crusted mahimahi, or red-ale-and-mango-glazed ribs with sour cream and herb mashed potatoes.
