Overlooking the ocean from a bluff above Wailea Beach, this outdoor Italian restaurant at the Four Seasons Resort Maui is beautiful both day and night, with unparalleled service. For lunch, indulge in a lobster sandwich, salad niçoise, or a bento. At dinner you might begin your feast with the arugula and endive salad and move on to the lobster risotto and veal Milanese while enjoying live classical music under the stars. Try the wine list's excellent Italian choices, and if chef Michael Cantin is offering one of his periodic tasting menus—such as white Alba truffles in fall—go for it. Occasionally you can catch celebrities gossiping at the bar.

We went to dinner early because we wanted to have a drink at this bar before our reservation. The bar staff were fun and introduced us to a wine by the glass that we also ordered for dinner and will purchase for use at home now that we have returned.
Dinner was excellent, great tasting and service was excellent. We are very critical of the service at restaurants, and are not quick to pass on compliments.

For our last night in Maui we wanted to have a special waterfront dinner so we chose this restaurant in Wailea. Even though we had a reservation, we were kept waiting for 40 minutes after our scheduled time because we kept being bumped out by those staying at the hotel who did not have a reservation. We ended up getting seated at one of the farthest seats from the water and our view was of the back of beach chair cabana. Our server rushed us from the start as it was obvious that they just wanted to end their shift and leave. The food was not even close to the great reviews we have read about this place. We should have went back to Capiche instead - great service (they treat EVERYONE like royalty) and unparalleled food!
