Aston Mahana at Kaanapali Review

Though the address claims Kaanapali, this older 12-story condominium complex is really in quiet, neighboring Honokowai; all the studio, one-, and two-bedroom units in this building are oceanfront, with unobstructed panoramic views of the ocean and nearby islands. The bedrooms, kitchens, and living areas are spacious and, in each unit, rooms facing the ocean have floor-to-ceiling windows that make them seem even bigger. Built in 1974, the property has been regularly updated since, but the decor in individually owned units varies; many have been upgraded. An elegant pool faces a sandy beach that's good for snorkeling because of the shallow reef.
