The Four Seasons' hawklike attention to detail is reflected here. Thoughtful gestures like fresh flowers beneath the massage table (to give you something to stare at), organic herbal tea in the "relaxation room," and your choice of music begin to ease your mind and muscles before your treatment even begins. The spa is genuinely stylish and serene, and the therapists are among the best. Warm up for your treatment with a hot ginger blast before hopping into the steam room. You will feel cleansed and nurtured from the inside out. Thanks to an exclusive partnership, the spa offers treatments created by celebrity skin-care specialist Kate Somerville. The "Ultimate Kate" is 80 minutes of superhydrating, collagen-increasing magic, incorporating light therapy and powerful, tingling products that literally wipe wrinkles away. And if you don't mind shelling out for the ultimate indulgence, reserve one of the seaside open-air hale hau (traditional thatch-roof houses). You can have not just one, but two or more therapists realign your body and spirit with a meditative lomilomi (traditional Hawaiian massage involving powerful strokes down the length of the body) as you listen to the soothing waves of Wailea Beach.
