Hui Noeau Visual Arts Center Review
"The Hui" is the grande dame of Maui's visual arts scene, and its exhibits are always satisfying. It also offers classes and maintains artists' studios. The lovely grounds might as well be a botanical garden, and the main building, just outside the town of Makawao on the old Baldwin estate, is an elegant two-story Mediterranean-style villa designed in the 1920s by the defining Hawaii architect C.W. Dickey.
