Courtyard by Marriott Maui Kahului Airport
532 Keolani Pl., Kahului, Hawaii, 96732, USA, Kahului, Hawaii, USAWhy We Like It
This airport hotel packs in a lot of amenities and looks good doing it. It may not be a part of a beach vacation, but for business travelers or those arriving on a late flight, it makes a great choice.
Fodor's Expert Review
At the entrance to Kahului Airport, this hotel offers many amenities for business travelers as well as tourists. Up-to-date technology is found throughout: in the lobby, the Bistro restaurant has meeting pods featuring flat screens and plug-ins; guests have computer access in the business center; a touch-screen "concierge" prints out maps; and guest rooms feature large work stations. If you're not all business, there is a 24-hour fitness center, a pool, a fire pit, and a complimentary shuttle to nearby shopping and restaurants (and to the airport), or you can walk to Costco and Kmart just across the street. Family suites have a fully equipped kitchen, a pull-out sofa in the living room, and connecting bedrooms. Kanaha Beach Park, a world-famous wind- and kite-surfing spot, is nearby.

What's Nearby
Getting Around
It’s easy (and preferable) to explore Maui’s smaller towns by foot, but to get to them and around the island, you’ll need to rent a car. If you plan on exploring the Road to Hana, get something with a little extra horsepower (but not too big as the road can get very narrow). The hotel includes the nice perk of a free shuttle to airport and nearby dining, shopping, and even the beach.
Restaurants
There’s a real balance between cold and hot at Umi Maui (9-min drive), which features both a sushi menu and a ramen menu (though Sunday is the only day they overlap -- they are offered on different days). Plates are as beautiful as they are delicious at this no reservations, BYOB restaurant.
Find fresh, vibrant food at Fork and Salad (Kahului location) (5-min drive), featuring signature, as well as build-your-own salads, grain bowls, and sandwiches made with a wide variety of mostly local and organic ingredients. These healthy options make a great choice to pick up for a beach picnic or day of hiking.
