Fodor's Review

Built in 1926 by the Hawaiian Pineapple Company, this is Lanai's principal commercial seaport. A native fishing village once thrived here. The cliffs that flank the western shore reach up to 1,000 feet. Water activities aren't allowed here, but it's a dramatic sunset spot and is perfect for stargazing. The area is closed to visitors on barge days: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
