This small, carefully arranged, historical museum features artifacts and photographs from Lanai's varied and rich history. Plantation-era clothing and tools, precious feather lei, stone adzes and poi pounders, ranch memorabilia, old maps, and family portraits combine to give you a good idea of the history of the island and its people. Postcards, maps, books, and pamphlets for sale. The friendly staff can orient you to the island's historical sites and provide directions.

This non-profit museum is a must see when you visit beautiful peaceful Lanai. Executive Director Kepa Maly is a wealth of information, friendly, caring staff, he answers all your questions. Please take the time to stop in and plan on staying a while, there is much to learn of the history of not only the Hawaiian people but also history of sugar, ranching and pineapple.
