Lanai Restaurants

Blue Ginger Café

Updated 01/21/2014

Fodor's Review

Owners Joe and Georgia Abilay made this cheery place into a Lanai City institution with simply prepared, consistent, tasty food. Local paintings and photos line the walls inside, while townspeople parade by the outdoor tables. For breakfast, try the Lanai omelet with Portuguese sausage. Lunch selections range from burgers to such local favorites as saimin noodles. For dinner you can sample generous portions of shrimp tempura or roasted pork. Phone ahead for takeout.

Good food at affordable prices

Great food at afordalbe prices. Chef salad is great, so as their omelets, well honestly speaking, everything there is.

Da Kine Local Eatery

I visit Lana'i everytime I visit family on Maui. The Blue Ginger Cafe has the best food and atmosphere for anyone who is looking for the "local" feeling. You can't go wrong.

Local Flavor

Great plate lunch place. We ate there for breakfast and dinner on the same day. Nice place to sit outside and look at the pine trees around the square and take in the local flavor. Takes a little time for the food to come out, but who cares when you're in paradise. Order at the counter first and they will deliver the food to your table.
