Blue Ginger Café
Blue Ginger Café Review
Owners Joe and Georgia Abilay have made this cheery place into a Lanai City institution with consistent, albeit simple, food. Locally inspired paintings and photos line the walls inside, while the town passes the outdoor tables in parade. For breakfast, try the Portuguese sausage omelet with rice or fresh pastries. Lunch selections range from burgers and pizza to Hawaiian staples such as saimin noodles or musubi (fried Spam wrapped in rice and seaweed). Try a shrimp stir-fry for dinner. The café sometimes closes early on slow days.
