Blue Ginger Café

Blue Ginger Café Review

Owners Joe and Georgia Abilay have made this cheery place into a Lanai City institution with simply prepared, consistent, tasty food. Local paintings and photos line the walls inside, while townspeople parade by the outdoor tables. For breakfast, try the Portuguese sausage omelet with rice or fresh pastries. Lunch selections range from burgers and pizza to Hawaiian staples such as saimin noodles or musubi (fried SPAM wrapped in rice and seaweed), and you can try a shrimp stir-fry for dinner. Phone ahead for takeout. The eatery sometimes closes early on slow days.
