Four Seasons Resort Lodge at Koele Review

In the highlands edging Lanai City, this grand country estate exudes luxury and quiet romance. Secluded by old pines, 1½ mi of paths meander through formal gardens with a huge reflecting pond, a wedding gazebo, and an orchid greenhouse. Afternoon tea ($21 and up) is served privately beneath the high-beamed ceilings of the magnificent Great Hall. The music-room lounge is a relaxing haven after a day on the lodge's golf course or sporting-clays range. A long veranda, furnished with wicker lounge chairs, looks out over rolling green pastures toward spectacular sunsets.
