Lanai Restaurants

Lanai City Grille

Updated 01/21/2014

Fodor's Review

Simple white walls hung with local art, lazily turning ceiling fans, and unobtrusive service provide the backdrop for a menu designed and supervised by celebrity-chef Beverly Gannon. Crab cakes, pulled-pork wontons, or steamed manila clams are a great way to start the evening. Baby field greens are artfully presented. The entrées are on the meaty side for Hawaii, and should satisfy serious appetites. The dining room is a friendly and comfortable alternative to the Four

Seasons, and a convenient, if sometimes noisy, gathering place for large parties.

Will return for more

The best food and staff on the island. During our stay at the resorts, we ate here 3 out of the 4 nights and will surely return!

An Alternative to the Resorts

We had a very nice meal at Henry Clay's. Food was definitely cajun inspired which was a nice change during our stay on Lanai. The service was excellent, but the dining room is nothing fancy. The restaurant is cheaper than the resorts, but still on the expensive side. A very relaxed atomsphere and a nice change if you''re looking for something different than the resort restaurants.
