Kinipopo Shopping Village Review

Kinipopo is a tiny little center on Kuhio Highway. Korean Barbeque fronts the highway, as does Goldsmith's Kauai Gallery, which sells handcrafted Hawaiian-style gold jewelry. Monaco's has authentic Mexican food, and Cakes by Kristin is a new pastry shop specializing in cakes. There's also a clothing shop, an art gallery, and a cafe open for breakfast and lunch called Tutu's Soup Hale.

    Kinipopo Shopping Village Review

    You missed Monico's Taqueria, listed in the L.A. Times as one of 20 best restaurants on Kauai for less than $20. Arrive early: There's usually a line to be seated.
    Also, two bakeries and a breakfast/lunch quiche/soup place have opened so dessert and vegetarian offerings.
    We've eaten at Kinipopo several times. It is affordable and the little courtyard is a delightful place to dine and watch other tourists (and locals).
