Tahiti Nui Review

This venerable and funky institution in sleepy Hanalei is once again offering its famous luau on Wednesday evenings, even though the venerable owner and founder Auntie Louise Marston has died. Spirits are always high at this popular hangout for locals and visitors alike, which houses live nightly entertainment, usually Hawaiian music early in the evening. For a more intimate setting, don't miss Iti Wine Bar, located right next door.

    Tahiti Nui Review

Food was extremely overpriced ($20 for 5 ravioli?!?!) and surprise charges were added to our bill without giving appropriate advance notice. In addition, wait staff and owner were rude when asked to correct a mistaken order. You would be better off looking elsewhere for eating or drinks -- there are many other places in Kauai which deserve your business and treat you like a valued customer. This was certainly not one of them.
