Kilohana Plantation

Fodor's Review:

This 16,000-square-foot Tudor mansion contains art galleries, a jewelry store, and Gaylord's restaurant. The restored outbuildings house a crafts shop and a Hawaiian-style clothing shop. The house itself is filled with antiques from its original owner and is worth a look. Horse-drawn carriage rides and train rides on a restored railroad are available, with knowledgeable guides reciting the history of sugar on Kauai.
