Fodor's Review:

The world revolves around you at this pricey private-island retreat, where the amenities and activities are custom-designed to create your dream vacation. The proprietors can arrange for personal chefs, windsurfing lessons, lakeside spa treatments, and on-site weddings. A private 20-acre freshwater lake teeming with bass and catfish awaits your fishing pole. You can also have your own par-3 golf hole and putting green and 3 acres of botanical gardens to stroll through. The modern three-bedroom house includes a romantic master suite and bath. Expect to pay a cleaning fee of about $375. Pros: Private and secluded, lakefront setting. Cons: Hefty cleaning fee, 15-minute drive to beach.

We stayed at this place in April 2007. This place is incredibly overpriced and oversold. The interior is run down, old. It looks just like in the pictures, but add many years of dirt and wear, but without maintenance. Lots of stuff in the kitchen worked poorly, or just didn’t work. We would not go back to this place. We feel like we got duped by the great pictures, which did not match to how the place is today. Those pictures on the web about this place were taken a long time ago. Maybe it was modern and “resort like” then, but it certainly isn’t now.
