Fodor's Review

This bakery is known for its starter of Hawaiian sourdough made with guava as well as its specialty pizzas topped with eclectic ingredients such as smoked ono (a Hawaiian fish), Gorgonzola-rosemary sauce, barbecued chicken, goat cheese, and chipotle peppers. Open from 6:30 am, the bakery serves coffee drinks, delicious fresh pastries, bagels, and breads in the morning. Late risers beware: breads and pastries sell out quickly on weekends. Pizza (including a gluten-free

dough option), soup, and salads can be ordered for lunch or dinner. Service is leisurely. There's free Wi-Fi and a cute courtyard with covered tables.

Imagine Alice's Restaurant - on Kauai!

Now, the folks behind the counter may be a little spacey (they aren't the greatest at processing orders) but whoever's doing the cooking does an incredible job!! The pizza is terrific, as are the salads. The baked items are fresh and just different enough to keep you coming back. In fact, take a loaf of bread with you; it won't last long. And try the desserts which are all great. Vegan options abound. It's clear the locals frequent this restaurant

- and for good reason.

Great Bakery & Pizza

This place was wonderful. We went twice, and ordered multiple items to share~most were excellent! My favorite pastry item was the pineapple tartlett~mouth-watering tasty! The coconut cream, cream-puff was the only disappointment (not as good as I imagined). The pizza is NOT traditional, but it IS VERY TASTY! Gourmet quality, and unique. I've never had pizza quite like it. My entire family loved it. The bread sticks were also very good, and we bought

a couple of bags to take back to our vacation rental. There are outdoor tables to sit in a very pleasant courtyard.

Pizza on the go

A pleasant place to stop for a quick bite. The pizza was good, but not great. I'd opt for Brick Oven Pizza first.
