Few Kauai restaurants are more beloved than this family-owned eatery, a mainstay of island dining since 1940, with a menu that runs from traditional American to Asian. You can dine in comfy booths, and meals include a good miso soup or fresh fruit cup and dessert. The Japanese side of the menu is generally satisfying, as are fresh fish specials and the fish salads.
