Folks love this roadside café, especially for breakfast, though it's good for lunch and a simple dinner, too. It's a casual atmosphere, and is frequently busy, especially on weekend mornings. Order up front and then find a seat inside or out on the lanai. Favorites include the Kahili Breakfast, scrambled eggs served with Portuguese sausage, ham, and green onions; and the Longboard sandwich, with fried egg, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and melted provolone cheese. The dinner menu has some really good salads, ribs, meat loaf, chicken, fish, burgers, and weekly specials. Lots of local products are used here, including Anahola Granola, local fish, and Kauai coffee, which you can buy by the pound. It's a solid choice in an area with limited restaurants.
