Polynesian Cultural Center Alii Luau

Fodor's Review:

This elaborate luau has the sharpest production values but no booze (it's a Mormon-owned facility). It's held amid the seven re-created villages at the Polynesian Cultural Center in the North Shore town of Laie, about an hour's drive from Honolulu. The luau includes tours of the park with shows and activities. Package rates vary depending on activities and amenities (personalized tours, reserved seats, buffet vs. dinner service, backstage tour, etc.) Waikiki transport is available, call for prices.

  • Cost: $83-$215
  • Open: Mon.-Sat. center opens at noon; luau starts at 5
