Fodor's Review

Worth a stop for its spectacular views from a bluff high above the ocean overlooking Waimea Bay, this sacred spot was once the site of human sacrifices. It's now on the National Register of Historic Places. Turn up the road at the Haleiwa Foodland, and follow the road up to the heiau.
