Backpackers Vacation Inn and Plantation Village Review

Laid-back Haleiwa surfer chic at its best, Backpackers is spartan in furnishings, rustic in amenities, and definitely very casual in spirit. Located at Pupukea Beach Marine Sanctuary, otherwise known as Three Tables Beach, it's a short stroll to the legendary Waimea Bay and all the big-wave action in the winter. Accommodations in this property's 10 buildings include hostel-type dorm rooms, double rooms (some with a double bed, others with two single beds), studios and cabins. Some have kitchenettes; others have full kitchens. TVs are available in every building and pay phones and barbecues are on the property. It's a three-minute walk to the supermarket.
