$-$$$, Waikiki
Fodor's Review:
A trellised open-air lobby of Italian marble and a guava smoothie greet you on arrival at this Lewers Street boutique hideaway. In-room Jacuzzi tubs, slick stereo-entertainment systems, and lighting-sound control bedside panels lend further appeal. One of the hotel's towers contains standard rooms; the other is all suites. Request a room close to the top of the hotel's 11 stories if you want to see the ocean from your lanai. It's about a five-minute stroll to Kalakaua Avenue and through one of the many public accessways to the beach, which can be a bit of a haul if you're carrying beach chairs. Continental breakfast on the lobby veranda is included, and Cappucino's Cafe offers a mix of Asian, American, and Hawaiian treats as well as Internet access. Cappucino's will also cater meals for you and your groupies if you're busy recording your first hit at the hotel's GS Karaoke Studio.
