Mai Tai Bar at the Royal Hawaiian Review

The bartenders here sure know how to mix up a killer mai tai. This is, after all, the establishment that first concocted the famous drink. The umbrella-shaded tables at the outdoor bar are front-row seating for sunsets and also have an unobstructed view of Diamond Head. Contemporary Hawaiian musicians hold jam sessions onstage.

    Mai Tai Bar Review

    I stopped at The Mai tai bar two years ago when I was on vacation. I ordered the "Itch" drink which had a wooden backscratcher in it as decoration. The drink was very strong. The Hula dancer came up to me to ask if I would like to hear any certain song. I requested Blue Hawaii and 2 men played and sang it and she danced. I also had a Mai Tai which was excellent. I din't eat anything, but the drinks, sevice and ambiance were very good.
