Fodor's Review

Located in Honolulu's own Korea Town, Sorabol is the largest Korean restaurant in the city. Open 24 hours a day, with a tiny parking lot and a maze of booths and private rooms, it offers a vast menu encompassing the entirety of day-to-day Korean cuisine, plus sushi. English menu translations are cryptic at best, and the decor is a bit tired and off-putting. Still, it's great for wee hour "grinds" (local slang for food): bibimbap (veggies, meats, and eggs on steamed rice), kalbi and bulgogi (barbecued meats), meat or fish jun (thin fillets battered with egg then fried), and kimchi pancakes.
