There's nothing Mickey Mouse about the food at the fine-dining restaurant of this Disney resort. Chef Kevin Chong was chef de cuisine at Chef Mavro for seven years, and his food has a brightness and innovation not always seen in resort retaurants. Add to that the views of the Ko Olina lagoons and Pacific Ocean—and live music by top local performers on Friday through Sunday nights—and you have an evening worth the pretty penny. From a Thai seafood curry to a Kurobuta pork chop with a Hamakua mushroom ragout, the ingredients are largely local, but the flavors are international. And the puffed potatoes are a fun side. If you're on a budget, skip dinner—breakfast and lunch entrées are half the price (although menu offerings vary).
