Ten minutes beyond Kapahulu is this commercial thoroughfare that runs through an old neighborhood filled with cool old Craftsman bungalows (that are slowly being knocked down to make room for ticky-tacky boxes). It may have the highest and most diverse concentration of eateries on the island, from a Jamaican restaurant and a shabu-shabu house to a chic, contemporary bistro and a nougat manufacturer.
