Fodor's Review

This lovely annual street party takes place in downtown Hilo. The stores stay open late, the sidewalks are dotted with live jazz bands, there are crafts and cultural info as well as a treasure hunt, and everyone dresses in black and white, some in shorts and tees and others in gowns and tuxes.
