Jacaranda Inn Review

While the historic Jacaranda Inn may not always live up to its potential, this sprawling estate, built in 1897 and once the home of the manager of Parker Ranch, provides a unique lodging option for visitors who appreciate history. Rooms are decorated in hues of raspberry and lavender, with lots of koa wood accents. Most rooms have hot tubs. A separate nearby cottage, with stone fireplace, sleeps six.

We stayed here the night before Thanksgiving. We were told that no one would be on the premisis. The room was beautifully decorated and clean. But.. no TV, no phone, and no coffee maker. Also the resturants are not within walking distance. About 2 miles away. They haven't served breakfast since Dec of 2006 according to the note on the wall.
