Horizon Guest House Review

Surrounded by McCandeless Ranch on 40 acres in South Kona, Horizon Guest House may seem remote, but it's actually just a short drive from some of the best water attractions on the island, including Place of Refuge, Kealakekua Bay, and Hookena Beach. The gated driveway winds its way past herds of goats, donkeys, horses, cows, and llamas. Offering four suites with private entrances and lanais, plus beautiful ocean views, this tastefully appointed inn includes an open-air living area, plus a media room with 50-inch plasma TV and a DVD library of 1,000 titles. Breakfast is served by the owner, plus there's a barbecue facility by the pool that includes cutlery, plates, and utensils. Snorkel and beach gear are available. Guests enjoy a 15% discount on stays of seven or more nights.
