Fodor's Review:

The latest upscale condo development to join the Waikoloa Beach Resort, Kolea is aiming to capture the very high-end crowd dominated by the condos associated with the Mauna Lani and Four Seasons. These brand-new condos are impeccably furnished and turned out, views from each unit's lanai are spectacular, and the complex is closer to the beach than any of the others in this area. Kolea also offers far more amenities than the average condo complex, with both an infinity pool and a kids' pool at their oceanside Beach Club, a fitness center, and a lava-rock hot tub. Pros: high design, close to beach, resort amenities. Cons: overpriced, not very kid-friendly.
