This romantic restaurant overlooking the boat canal resembles an Italian villa and serves scrumptious dishes with the subtle sauces of northern Italy. From mahimahi with marinated artichokes to fettuccine with Hawaiian lobster, the kitchen sets out to please, although some may find the pasta prices tough to justify. If you're here with companions, order a mix of entrées and pastas to get a good sampling of what the imported Italian chef can do. Be sure to look over the Italian wine and champagne list.

Fabulous food--we had appetizer, salad, two pasta dishes and dessert and they were all fabulous. Being from a place where magnificent Italian restaurants are plentiful, it takes a lot to impress us--well, we were--from start to finish. Magnifico!
