Dragonfly Ranch

Fodor's Review:

A unique, slightly hippie-ish hideaway built into the trees of Honaunau (about 10 mi south of Kealakekua Bay), the Dragonfly is not for everyone, but for some it is paradise. Dubbed an eco-retreat, this remarkable jungle tree house brings the outside in, with windows everywhere, lots of open-air sitting areas, and plants and flowers galore. The ranch doubles as a Healing Arts Center, and food is prepared from the ranch's organic garden. A labyrinth walk and lomi lomi massages are available, as are dolphin swims (they take you to the bay to "play respectfully with dolphins"). There's even a variety of musical instruments in the front room for anyone to play. Pros: unique in every way, emphasis on health, dolphin swims. Cons: can be a little New Agey, prices are high for location and vibe.
