Kona Pacific

Fodor's Review:

Once a hotel, the Kona Pacific gives you plenty of space. The one-bedroom units, which comfortably sleep four, are the size of two large hotel rooms, with a full kitchen and usually two bathrooms. There are ocean views from the lanai of most units and the pool. This large and well-maintained complex is just at the edge of Kailua-Kona, within walking distance of shops and restaurants. If you don't feel like cooking or barbecuing by the pool, a great Mexican food restaurant is waiting across the street with margaritas and fajitas, and a Hawaiian grill serving fresh seafood and awesome ahi sandwiches is across the street behind the complex. Note that the acceptance of credit cards varies with the unit owners. Pros: very large units, some with two lanai, ocean-view pool, well-maintained complex. Cons: some units in better shape than others, some units get noise from nearby highway.

  • Hotel Details: 80 units
  • In-room: kitchen.
  • In-hotel: pool.
