Fodor's Review:
It's not unusual for locals to drive an hour each way to get their hair cut here. Paul Brown has been in the business for 30 years, and he now has three locations in Hawaii. Hair is still the specialty, but it's not just a salon. The full-service spa -- nicely designed to let in lots of light -- has an extensive menu of massages, facials, and body treatments. The well-run facility also has a trained practitioner who administers expert acupuncture treatments. It's the best place for waxing in case you didn't have time before you left home. You can use the gym at the Hapuna Golf Course's clubhouse, accessible via a free shuttle.
